The last home of the one the greatest French artists Claude Monet, the homestead of Giverny has kept its original look, the way he intended it. This is where Monet's greatest painting came to life, including the famous series of almost 250 oil paintings "Water Lilies" (or "Nymphéas" in French). On each of these paintings he recreated the garden of Giverny that looks like a masterpiece of nature itself. The house also kept the atmosphere Monet gave it. You can walk around its rooms filled with sunlight and discover the rare collection of original prints made by such Japanese masters as Hokusai and Hirosige.
The tour duration is 8 hours.
